Your coverage is based on the monthly rental amount you provided during enrolment.

  • This policy covers up to 3 times your monthly rent.
  • Payments are made over a maximum of three months, subject to meeting policy terms and conditions.

This is an annual insurance policy that is paid for monthly.

This policy does not provide coverage for:

  • Job loss before your policy start date or within the 90-day waiting period.
  • Short-term contracts, part-time jobs, volunteer work, or training courses.
  • Voluntary resignation, retirement, or dismissal due to:
    • Failure to follow employer policies, rules, or code of conduct.
    • Non-compliance with ethics, company guidelines, or refusal to accept work orders.

To be eligible for coverage, you must:

  • Be a W2 full-time permanent employee
  • Work at least 30 hours per week for the same employer

This policy does not cover:

  • 1099 contractors (self-employed)
  • Part-time or temporary workers
  • Training programs or internships

Your policy is active once you have successfully enrolled and we have received your insurance payment.

However, your coverage only begins after you have completed the 90-day waiting period. During this time, if you lose your job, you cannot make a claim.

A waiting period is a duration of time you must wait before your insurance cover comes into effect. During this time, your insurance coverage is not yet active.

  • You cannot make a claim for any loss of employment that happened before you enrolled or during the 90-day waiting period.
  • If you have been enrolled for 90 days and then lose your job, you may submit a claim if you meet all the policy terms and conditions.
